Having travelled widely in our latter years we fell in love with Malta and after several visits decided to buy a Time-Share.

We did not want to be in the centre of a Town or in an anonymous block of similar apartment buildings, so purchased in the Island Residence Club at Golden Bay. This is a fabulous five-star Hotel and Spa complex run by the Radisson Group and opened by the Queen some eight years ago. It is situated on the Northern shore of the Island overlooking a secluded sandy bay cove. Boasting three outdoor swimming pools and a superb indoor pool and Spa Treatment Centre etc., it is surrounded by a large terrace equipped with sun-loungers making it difficult sometimes to leave the complex and explore this lovely Island. It also has three restaurants ranging from "Fine Dining" to a "Pizzeria" and the local bus services are only 100 yards from the Hotel.

Malta has so much to see and do that one never gets tired of exploring places like Valetta, the compact, bustling Capital, or Mdina, "The Quiet City". History abounds everywhere on this very friendly island where everyone is welcomed and the climate ranges from Moderate to Hot! We particularly like November for that reason and have also enjoyed a Christmas there.

Unfortunately I suffered two bouts of D.V.T. followed by a Stroke the second time and have been advised not to fly now, hence the offer to sell.

We own two weeks in the "Silver Period" , ie. November to March and have a luxurious Studio Apartment sleeping two which has a Balcony looking down to the Bay and across the Moorland. It is on the sixth floor on the end of the oval shaped hotel block, hence the dual view.
