Located amongst the beauties of Germany’s Black Forest region in the idyllic Hinterzarten holiday village, the Adler Bellevue Ferienclub offers timeshare studios and one-bedroom apartments year-round. Great for summer exploration of the forests and historic villages and winter cross-country skiing and ice-skating, the resort is peaceful and well-maintained.

Sleeping between two and four persons, the modern units all have partial kitchens equipped with two-ring hobs, fridges, dishwashers, toasters and coffee makers. Bathrooms have either showers or tubs, and satellite TVs are found in the living areas along with cosy seating.

Fronting the resort is the Parkhotel Adler, with its indoor swimming pool, sauna, fitness room, bar, restaurant and medical facilities available for a fee, and close by you’ll find several restaurants. Boating, fishing and lakeside summer lazing on the beach are favourites, and there’s a golf course and horse riding some three kilometres from the resort.

Car rental helps visitors to get the best out of a break here, with a daytrip across the border to the hilly French province of Alsace opening up scenic vistas around every curve. Hiking and hill walking make good exercise for city-dwellers, and the surrounding hilly countryside gives fresh air from its rejuvenating green lungs.
