The mid-sized Tiki Village International is a real boon for the frequent visitor to the stunning Gold Coast region. With its setting near busting Cavill Avenue and overlooking the Nerang River, it comes minus the hefty price tag of typical hotels on Surfers Paradise’s main beach, yet retains full facilities.
Tiki Village International is especially praised for its location as well as for its comfort and friendliness on review sites like Tripadvisor, being ideal for the beach and city centre. Both studios and one-bedroom apartments are spacious and easy on the eye, with angular rooms and lots of light.
Rooms benefit from air conditioning, partial kitchen, WiFi internet and even a spa in some cases. There are a couple of swimming pools—one of which is on the roof together with spa—a poolside bar, waterslide and barbecue areas. Tiki Village is thus good for singles, couples and families, with a kids’ club and games room also on site.
Although you have the setting over the Nerang River, you are near the action without being right in the thick of it. The beach is a mere 300-metre stroll via busy Cavill Avenue, along which are trendy boutiques, cafés, bars and restaurants.
The main draw of the capital of the Gold Coast for many is its gorgeous surf beach and of course the consistently good weather. In addition, several classy theme parks are situated a short bus ride or drive away, along with the stunning hinterland and rainforest of southeast Queensland.
