The Villas at Chayofa Country Club Tenerife Canary Islands

The Villas at Chayofa Country Club Tenerife, Canary Islands , Canary Islands

Just five minute’s shuttle bus trip from Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas, the Chayofa Country Club timeshare villas enjoys the best of both worlds – a buzzing holiday resort town and the peacefulness of the complex. The pretty, local town of La Camella with its tapas bars, quaint restaurants and traditional shops, is a short stroll away.

The private villas are set adjacent to the resort complex, and all offer stunning views of the Tenerife Mountains and the ocean beyond. Holidaymakers are welcome to enjoy the entertainments and facilities at the Country Club. Totally private, the villas each comprise three en-suite bedrooms with fully equipped bathrooms, and the living and dining areas on the ground floor are spacious and bright.

The lounges have sliding glass doors leading to the villa’s patio and private swimming pool in a beautifully-kept, walled tropical garden. The master bedrooms on the first floor offer a Jacuzzi bath and balcony with great views, and full laundry facilites are tucked away neatly in the basements. For visitors not wanting to miss their TV, the satellite televisions offer BBC and ITV as well as other English language channels. In-villa internet connections are now available.

The complex itself boasts two outdoor pools, one of which is dedicated to children. A gym and fitness room, games room with pool tables, table tennis and darts, tennis courts and a sauna give recreation fun, and the on-site hair salon is a handy service. Three restaurants give a choice of menus and cuisines and the three bars are great for making new friends and lazing with a refreshing drink after a full day’s sightseeing or beach activities.

Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas are the nightlife hubs of Tenerife, with Los Cristianos slightly more laid back than its tourism-created neighbour. In addition, the beaches are among the best on the island and offer a huge range of water sports, especially scuba diving, as well as whale and dolphin watching and deep sea fishing trips.

This dramatic, volcanic island is well worth exploring with a hired car if you’re adventurous. Heading for the northern region of the island away from the main tourist drag brings you into contact with the unique local culture of the inhabitants as well as taking you over mountain passes, through natural forests and remote wildernesses.
