In the Valley of the Sun, Phoenix, Arizona, lies the Orange Tree Interval Ownership Resort. Based around a prize golf course, every one of the 160 rooms is part of Arizona’s most luxury golfing vacation destinations. The resort is located in an oasis which was once home to an orange grove, hence its name.
Best features of the rooms are ergonomically designed ‘tempur-pedic’ sleep system beds that offer the height of luxury and comfort, alongside a whirlpool hot tub with enough space for two to relax in. There is a reasonable kitchenette in every room, or you can take a short stroll to the onsite restaurant that offers daily specials and a la carte meals.
Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the resort, and there is also an onsite fitness centre. But most of all, visitors who love golf will want to make use of the fabulous eighteen-hole golf course. The Orange Tree Resort is in a convenient area of Phoenix, in the upper northwest, meaning a short drive to great shopping, museums, and the zoo in the Scottsdale district of the city.
Arizona is named the Grand Canyon State, and deservedly so, as it is home to this world famous geographic feature. From Scottsdale, where the Orange Tree Resort is located, it takes about three and a half hours to drive north to visit the Grand Canyon site. Closer to home is the Tonto National Forest wilderness area, which starts just 25 minutes east of the resort.
