Charming, small and located in the Costa Brava within the fishing village of L’Escala, the Port de Rei resort is perfect for a peaceful Mediterranean break. Just a stroll from the beach, the complex offers comfortable, air-conditioned accommodation set around its outdoor swimming pool as well as a host of local activities.

Timeshare units here come as apartments with fully fitted kitchen areas equipped with dishwashers, microwaves, electric hobs, fridges and everything needed for a self-catering holiday. Living areas comprise dining and lounging sections with satellite TVs and plenty of cupboard space. Bedrooms sleep up to four, and the ensuite bathrooms are equipped with showers.

On-site amenities include the L’Illa Mateua restaurant, serving breakfasts and dinners and specialising in the delicious cuisine of the region. A sauna, fitness club and Jacuzzi take care of exercise and relaxation, and the centre of the village is easily reached on foot or via the little ‘Carelet’ train. The beaches of the Gulf of Rosas are sandy, small, surrounded by rocky headlands and perfect for boating, fishing and swimming.

Close to the resort you’ll find a golf course and horseback riding, and windsurfing and waterskiing are had off-site just a short walk from your apartment. Evening entertainment and typical Spanish restaurants and bars are found in the village, and, for a day trip, the historic city of Gerona is just 40kms away by hired car.
