The Polo Towers timeshare suites are set between MGM and Planet Hollywood just half a block off the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, the entertainment hub of America. Located at the heart of the Sin City action, this imposing high rise condo block is a Diamond Resorts property, giving upscale quality, a great location and value for money.
The complex offers classically elegant timeshare studio villas and one or two-bedroomed suites, all of which are spacious, stylishly furnished and equipped to sleep between two and six persons. The studio villas come with a kitchenette, and the suites boast full kitchens and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers. Air conditioning and a balcony or terrace come as standard.
In-suite amenities include TVs, DVD players, microwaves, ovens and hobs, refrigerators, dishwashers, coffee makers and blenders, along with all dining and cooking essentials. Tripadvisor reviews praise the helpful staff and the location, spaciousness and value for money of the accommodation. The lack of intrusive noise from the Strip is another plus point frequently mentioned.
On-site amenities start with the rooftop pool and spa with their great views across the Strip, and families with younger kids will love the play area and family water park. The fitness centre comes with the latest in exercise machines and, for first-time vacationers, the concierge services are useful. There’s a games room, several shops and a BBQ area. A business centre is also handy.
Just outside the door is the world’s most-loved casino, entertainment and activity hub, offering everything from world-class shows featuring the greats of the musical scene, exciting rides and themed attractions and famous, chef-designed restaurants. In addition, favourite American steak and rib houses, endless international cuisine outlets and fast food joints are all here.
Polo Towers is the perfect jumping-off point for adventure and exploration of Nevada’s deserts and attractions such as nearby Boulder Dam in Boulder City, Death Valley and even the breathtaking Grand Canyon. Travelling by hired car is made easy by the state highways. If you’re visiting in winter, the ski resorts in the Spring Mountains, including Mount Charleston ski area, are just under an hour’s drive away from Vegas.
For magnificent scenery in and round a red-walled canyon, head for Zion National Park three hours to the east of Vegas. Hiking and rock-climbing are favourites here, and the snowmelt feeds the raging river in spring. For the perfect scenic daytrip drive, head first for the Boulder Dam and carry on to the Grand Canyon, some four hours from Vegas.
