Set in the peaceful Florida beachside town of Sebastian, Oyster Pointe is located adjacent to the Indian River Lagoon and is the perfect destination for boating and fishing enthusiasts. The resort has similar facilities to its sister club Oyster Bay, and its two-bedroom timeshare units are well-furnished and comfortable.

Onsite facilities are found in prettily landscaped gardens, and include an outdoor swimming pool, a children’s playground, a hot tub, tennis court and laundry room. The units come with fully-equipped kitchens and views across the complex, and motorboats are available at a very reasonable charge.

The resort is popular with deep-sea fishing buffs, with chartered cruises crewed by experienced locals able to be hired at any of the area’s many marinas. Several golf courses are found nearby, along with a choice of restaurants, bars, grocery stores, medical facilities, a health club and beauty salons.

Sebastian is a peaceful, rustic fishing town suitable for a relaxing holiday away from the crowds and noise of major Florida beach resorts. Its three small museums, the McClarty, Mel Fisher’s Treasure Museum and the Sebastian Fishing Museum are all typical of this charming, slightly old-fashioned resort town.

The beachside town of Melbourne is a short, scenic drive away and has a number of interesting heritage buildings set in its Historic District. Shopping here is more varied than in Sebastian, and the town’s Eau Gallie Arts District is the downtown hub for local creativity.
