Set backing peaceful Psalidi Beach on the Greek holiday island of Kos, the Galaxia Vacation Club lies just a short drive of four kilometres from the lively main town, also called Kos. Timeshare owners here have the best of both worlds, with the attractive units surrounded by landscaped gardens giving relaxing days by the pool, and Kos’s tavernas and clubs offering buzzing dining and nightlife options.
The apartments here have balconies overlooking the pool area, with some enjoying ocean views as well. Most of the air-conditioned units boast kitchens equipped with cooking facilities and dishwashers, and are just a step from the resort’s private beach.
There’s a children’s pool and playground as well as two outdoor pools, the property is disabled-friendly and blackout curtains shade bedrooms from the glorious Greek sunshine in the early mornings. Excellent amenities are offered, including a health club, sauna, hot tub, and spa for pampering sessions, and parents can make use of the friendly childcare services.
Greek food is a favourite with all visitors, with the complex’s restaurant getting great reviews for its traditional dishes and a snack bar taking care of the ‘munchies’. Close by are water sports such as scuba diving, windsurfing and snorkelling, and the complex has a general store for everyday needs.
Kos town is notable for its charming, whitewashed Greek homes and its Roman, Crusader and Ottoman heritage. Here you’ll find a well-developed tourism infrastructure and a great choice of harbourside tavernas as well as a bar street with several nightclubs. Close by is the famous temple of Aesclepius, home to the historic father of medicine.
