Located in the Caleta de Fuste district within a short drive of Fuerteventura’s international airport, Club Montecastilllo lies opposite the Elite Fuerteventura Club and a pretty beach. Its host of facilities and attractive units come at a much more attractive price than a room in comparable local hotels.

Traveller reviews are very favourable, mentioning its superb location close by the beach and other attractions, peace and quiet, the friendliness of the staff and its lovely gardens. Clean and well-designed, the one- and two-bedroom units are also praised.

All the units are on the ground floor, have either a patio or terrace and are tastefully decorated and furnished, with well-equipped kitchens and ensuite facilities. Satellite TVs and CD players come as standard, and the units are arranged around a large swimming pool with a sun terrace and pool bar. Games, a gym and a Jacuzzi are also found on the complex.

Amenities nearby include a choice of eateries, golf, a sauna, medical centre, hair salon and health club, and the beaches are under two kilometres away. Scuba diving and windsurfing are popular, and shopping in the town is fun and rewarding.

Caleta de Fuste’s landmark is its 18th century castle, and whale and turtle-watching trips are favourites. Fashionistas will love the weekly market with its great deals on shoes, bags and other leather products, and night owls will enjoy the town’s buzzing nightlife.
