Club La Solana de Ransol Andorra

The charming Club La Solana de Ransol is situated in the rustic village of Ransol in north-eastern Andorra and is a popular base for hiking or skiing the expansive Grandvalira region. One of the ski resorts is nearby, while transfer time from capital city Andorra la Vella is just 30 minutes.

Club La Solana de Ransol is registered with RCI, a prominent vacation exchange company, and has a fine location overlooking the Ransol and Incles valleys. Depending on your whims, you can purchase a timeshare week in the summer or winter seasons and be content with the fabulous hiking or skiing here.

The resort is located in a peaceful area, yet within easy reach of the capital for its duty-free shopping. The timeshare units are of the one- and two-bedroom variety and are warmly turned out with charming wood floors and attractive furniture. They can sleep four and six respectively via a sofa bed in the lounge area.

The 20 apartments are well equipped with heating, satellite TV and telephone and a kitchen that comes with fridge, hob, microwave and washing machine. Kitchens feature granite surfaces and open out into an airy lounge with balcony and fine views stretching into the wooded valleys far below. En suite bathrooms include a shower and bath.

Owners of timeshare units at the Club La Solana de Ransol can also have access to the welcoming indoor heated swimming pool of the nearby Segle XX Hotel, along with its sauna and gym; perfect for a spot of après-ski! There is also massage and some activities, to include table tennis, a play area for the kids and even bicycle hire.

An onsite bar puts out snacks, although several good eateries are nearby. In addition is ski equipment hire and you can also pick up ski passes to the various ski resorts of the huge Grandvalira region.

This is a fine region to be based away from the relatively hectic capital city and for easier access to the ski resorts. Grandvalira is now one of the main go-to ski regions in Europe—after the melding of the Pas de la Casa Grau and Soldeu ski areas—and ski passes are significantly cheaper than comparable French and Swiss resorts. It caters to all levels of skier and has reasonably priced après-ski, to boot. Frequent buses serve from Andorra la Vella and Soldeu.
