This apartment is situated in a great location in the resort of Pestana Promenade.

There are amazing views from the balcony. Looking out to sea you can see boats both large and small, some racing around the rock, others setting off on Wild life watching trips. At night you can see the lights of the fishing boats far out to sea. Nearer at hand the balcony overlooks the beautiful infinity pools that are fringed with mature palm trees and colourful flower beds. The apartment is conveniently placed on the same level as, and very close to the spacious, comfortable Reception area. The lifts are nearby, as is the Owners' Relations office, where Representatives are available to help you enjoy your holiday in any way you want.

The apartment itself is a studio that sleeps four people. It is comfortably furnished, and has everything you need for a great holiday. It has an unusually large bathroom for a studio apartment, containing both a walk-in shower, and a bath. The apartment is cleaned daily, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Pestana Promenade is a modern, elegant resort where you can find everything to enable you to have wonderful holidays. In addition to the infinity pools there is a glass enclosed indoor pool, a gym and a spa where a variety of beauty treatments are available. Owners also have access to a library and games room.

Pestana Promenade has three modern restaurants all with sea views. There are two bars and entertainment is a regular feature of the evenings. Locally there is a wide range of restaurants and bars, many within walking distance.

Funchal has an excellent bus service, and if you wish, much of the island can be explored by bus, starting directly outside the hotel with regular buses into the centre of Funchal. I particularly like to visit the beautiful gardens dotted around the outskirts of the city. There are also taxis available whose drivers are very happy to take you wherever you wish.

I have enjoyed many happy holidays in Funchal in this fixed week. September is a lovely time to be in Madeira; the temperature is just right and the flowers are beautiful.
