Whether you are an existing timeshare owner or totally new to timeshare, we shall endeavour to have answered all your questions and given you as much help and advice as necessary before placing any offers on your behalf with our customers who are looking to sell timeshare.

To assist with any questions you may have regarding our processes when it comes to purchasing timeshare, the information below outlines how we do business and provides specimens of all the paperwork you would receive if we are able to find you a suitable product and agree a purchase price with the seller.

Contacting the Seller

If the consultant dealing with your enquiry is able to find a suitable timeshare product, they will need speak directly with the individual with the timeshare for sale. Initially this may be to help answer any remaining questions that you have such as whether the timeshare is available for use this year and also to make sure it is still available for sale.

Making an Offer

In some cases, the individuals who have their timeshare registered for sale with us are open to offers. Your consultant will be happy to put forward any reasonable offers on your behalf provided that you are completely happy with how we work and operate. So, before putting forward any offers on your behalf, your consultant will want to make sure that you fully understand all of the points below.

If your offer is successful

To begin the contractual process of transferring the ownership of your timeshare resale from the existing owner to yourself, we will first need to receive your commitment to pay the additional fee of £299 for each timeshare week or group of timeshare points purchased. This fee is for the service provided by our in-house contracts department who will be carrying out all the checks on your timeshare resale, carrying out the change of ownership and acting as your agent in the process. This fee needs to be paid when you return your signed Purchase Agreement, as with any monies in your transaction, it is paid into a blocked account. As we operate within both the relevant UK and European laws governing timeshare, any monies that pay for either our services or your timeshare resale need to be held in separate account. Basically, it is to keep hold of your monies whilst our contracts team carry out all the checks on your timeshare to ensure that everything is 100% as intended. It is only as and when you are the legal owner of the timeshare that any monies are released from the blocked account. We will then send you two separate agreements which will require your signature.

Timeshare Purchase Agreement:This document outlines precisely what timeshare week or timeshare points product you are buying. For example, if you were to buy a fixed week timeshare then it would generally state the name of the resort, the unit number, the size of the unit, how many people that unit will accommodate, the period (week number) along with the check-in days, management fees and of course the purchase price. We will send you two copies of each document, one for your own records and one to send back to us within fifteen days of your offer being accepted. You will also need to send a cheque for the balance payment which is made payable to Worldwide Timeshare Hypermarket Limited alternatively you can do a bank transfer using Lloyds Bank,

Timeshare Transfer Procedure

Once our contracts team have assured that your timeshare is as stipulated on your purchase agreement they will commence with the necessary procedure to transfer the timeshare into your name. Depending on the resort and the country, the procedure will vary. We will endeavour to keep you up-to-date during this process which generally takes around 90 days.

Your right to cancel

If for any reason you decide that you do not wish to proceed with your timeshare purchase you have the right to cancel the agreement. You can cancel this timeshare agreement by sending or taking a written notice of cancellation to Worldwide Timeshare Hypermarket on or before the balance due date, as specified on the reverse of the timeshare purchase agreement. You therefore have at least fourteen days from the day your offer is accepted in which you may cancel the agreement. If you post the notice in a properly addressed and fully pre-paid letter, the notice will be treated as given at the time of posting. If you do decide to cancel the agreement within the statuary cooling-off period then any monies that you have paid (including the £299 per week legal and contracts fee) will be reimbursed to you in full.
