This lovely timeshare has been in our family since 1984 and enjoyed every year by all generations of our wide family (and some selected friends). The Scandinavian-style lodge is located on a quiet site, overlooking the estate's central tarn and within very easy reach of the leisure club, on-site restaurants, bar and the spa suites. The approach and entrance to the single-floor accommodation is up two low steps, so offers excellent accessibility for all ages. It is also a relatively short walk to a well-stocked provisions shop in Chapel Stile and to two good pubs. There is a wide variety of walks for all levels (and weathers) from the doorstep or just a short drive away as well as increasing numbers of varied attractions in the vicinity.

The family has grown further but continues to love Langdale and the centrality of Elterwater village within the Lake District and so intends to retain their two over-lapping weeks at Langdale in the autumn.

This week 18 (Friday changeover) is a great week as it usually spans the early May Bank Holiday weekend. This is a lovely time to visit with the weather finally beginning to improve, the trees turning green, lambs in the fields, ducklings on the tarn and daffodils, bluebells, rhododendrons and azaleas in abundance...but do bring your wet weather gear too.
