The location is in walking distance of fantastic restaurants and shops, and is also well placed as a central spot in the lake district for onward travel to Bowness, Windermere, Kendal and beyond.
The apartment has been with our family for over 20 years. In that time our children, when they young, had fantastic local activities all nearby - putting green, ice cream shops and a cinema a few minutes walk away, further afield (name and name) a short drive away. There is a bus stop within walking distance, and takeaway food premises. Lots to do for teenage children in a safely accessible site for them to explore.
The apartment is in walking distance to experience both Fell walking or wandering around the local shops and enjoying everything they have to offer.
The apartment is furnished to a very high standard - quality bedding and décor with a well equipped kitchen and bathroom which makes comfortable living for 4 or 6 people.
There is a beautiful balcony for the apartment - many an evening we have watched the view of Ambleside (and some passing fighter planes from nearby RAF Coningsby!) in a very peaceful setting.
The pool complex, including jacuzzi and sauna, offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy time with family - a bonus whether the weather is sunny or when experiencing a more traditional UK holiday weather experience!
The pool is easily accessible and spacious. The pool has been a tremendous attraction for our children from young age to teenage years and have added to the value of the holiday every year.
The apartment has been a wonderful place for our family, and wider family and friends to enjoy over the years - we will always fondly remember our "Ambleside home" and it remains a place with lots to offer for future families to love and enjoy.
