Our family has been staying at the Kilconquhar Castle Estate at Christmas time (22 - 29 Dec) for over thirty years. This has provided a great opportunity for us all to get together to enjoy the festive season in a special picturesque setting in the heart of the East Neuk of Fife. The only reason that we have decided to sell our Christmas week is due to family bereavement.

The Villa is situated in a quiet corner of the estate with outstanding views over the grounds. It comprises of an entrance vestibule leading into a spacious dining area with steps down to a large open-plan family lounge. One of the sofas converts into an additional double bed if required and there is a television, DVD player and Wi-Fi access.

A fully equipped kitchen contains a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, hob, and oven. There are three double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and small TV sets. The master bedroom also comprises of an adjoining room with a jacuzzi bath and a separate en-suite shower. The estate facilities include a tennis court, golf driving range, two putting greens, an indoor swimming pool, a badminton court and a fully equipped gymnasium. There is also a snooker room, children's soft play area and games room with table-tennis table. The leisure centre building incorporates a shop which provides milk, bread rolls, and other essentials. On-site stables offer escorted pony trekking and horse riding for adults and children. There is also a wide variety of activities e.g., water- slide, family football, quiz nights etc.

Within the impressive castle building is a 16th-century Grand Hall, which doubles as a dining room where Christmas lunch is served and occasional dining evenings are held. This also provides a venue for weddings and other functions. The Castle incorporates a bistro, which is open throughout the week, where teas and coffees are served throughout the day, as well as local Scottish dishes and a wide selection of beverages.

Kilconquhar Castle Estate is situated an hour's drive from Edinburgh with the picturesque, seaside town of St. Andrew's nearby. It is ideally located within access to all the delights and attractions of the East Neuk of Fife, including historic fishing villages, many golf courses, beaches, and restaurants.
