After the hustle and bustle of Christmas, it is good to have a week in Bournemouth to look forward to.

It is good to sit up in bed, with a cup of tea, and watch the sun come up over the Isle of Wight, and later in the day, watch the sunset over the Purbeck Hills.

The weather has usually been dry and sunny, allowing us to walk along the cliff top towards Boscombe Pier and along the beach, even enjoying a coffee sitting out in the sun.

We are usually on our own but have had family and friends stay for a night or two, as we enjoy the space of the apartment with two enormous en-suite bedrooms and a lounge, all with excellent views down to the beach and out to sea.
