Managed by Hilton Grand Vacations Club, this lovely 2-bedroom self-catering lodge is situated on the stunning grounds of the Dunkeld House Hotel.

Week 40 is truly amazing in this part of Scotland as the area is known as Big Tree Country and in October the autumn foliage is really showing off. Particularly lovely is the enclosed balcony area of the lodge allowing relaxation in any weather overlooking the views of the deer grazing under the trees resplendent in their Autumn colours.

The lodge has the following features - Open-plan living and dining area, both double bedrooms ensuite, TV, hi-fi and DVD player, free Wi-Fi, separate toilet. The Lodge can sleep up to 6 with a sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with gadgets, microwave, oven / hob, washing machine, and dishwasher. The Lodge is on 2 levels with the bedrooms downstairs and the living area upstairs allowing full appreciation of the view. The heating is electric. The description does not do the lodge justice, as it combines comfort with high-quality fixtures and fittings beautifully.

The lodge is dog friendly and has immediate access to walks along the river Tay.

Dunkeld town is a 20-minute walk along the majestic River Tay and boasts a cathedral, golf course, many restaurants, bakeries, supermarket, and independent shops. Live folk music can also be enjoyed.

Close by is the Loch of the Lowes, where ospreys can be seen. Perth and Dundee are also close with the fabulous Victoria and Albert Museum in Dundee.

We rarely use our car when we are at Dunkeld due to what is on our doorstep.

In addition to the grounds and surrounding walks, the leisure facilities at Dunkeld House Hotel can be used during the stay. These include a swimming pool, sauna, fitness centre, and spa. The hotel has a restaurant, lounge, and bar - with great views across the gardens and River Tay.

Makes for a truly relaxing luxury break.
