We were shown this timeshare in 2007 while on holiday at another hotel in the resort, we were immediately impressed with the luxury, facilities available and bought straight away.

Our contract is for 7000 points, 2 bed 2 bath and expires 2041. You can use your points to book other Hilton Grand Vacation resorts, transfer them to Hilton Honors or RCI points. So, there is flexibility there. We currently have 14000 RCI points available to use now; these expire 31/12/2021 which can be used.

The Hotel has free access to use of the Spa and 24-hour Gym. It has various pools placed around the hotel, restaurants, and bars. We love the snug bar and always have a nightcap there before retiring to bed. A Kids Club is available in Summer months. The Hotel is about 25 minutes from Faro Airport.

It is nearby to the Marina-the hotel; runs a free shuttle bus to it. The Marina has many restaurants of different worldwide cuisine and various shops. There's also a beach linked to the hotel and shuttle bus will take you there too in a couple of minutes.

There is a supermarket nearby for provisions, well stocked we usually get everything we need there.

Some of the local restaurants, if you go outside of the summer season, will pick you up and drop you back at the hotel by car-you just need to phone them for reservations and pick up, the hotel reception will give you details of the restaurants and even phone to make the bookings/pick up for you. The restaurants seem to be the authentic Portuguese ones.

We love this hotel and resort and are only selling due to illness, which has meant being unable to fly, otherwise we wouldn't let it go.
