Craigendarroch is in Ballater within the Highlands of Scotland and close to Balmoral and Braemar. It is about 45 minute's drive West of Aberdeen. It is a great base from which you can do a multitude of outside activities such as cycling, hiking, and fishing.

Craigendarroch is a Hilton Grand Vacations Resort. The Clubhouse has a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, squash courts, gym, and steam room along with a restaurant and bar. There are also tennis courts in the grounds.

The Lodge is a two -bedroom apartment with three bathrooms (two ensuite) and can sleep 6. The bedrooms are downstairs with the living area (full kitchen, dining area and lounge) upstairs to take advantage of the views. The Lodge looks out onto a grassed area and pond to the front and woodland area to the rear and balcony. There is a pull-down bed in the lounge and third bathroom upstairs. The lodge also has a drying cupboard, washing machine, TV, and a few board games. There is parking for 2 cars.

Over the many years we have had the lodge we have had many great holidays there and enjoyed hiking in the Highlands and seeing the array of wildlife around. We have also exchanged through the HGVC club and visited Hawaii and Washington. The week is a platinum week which equates to 7000 points.

The two-week block of weeks 35 and 36 will always include the Braemar Highland Games at which the royal family attend.
