Set in 33 acres of the Craigendarroch estate, the Lodge offers comfort and a high standard of accommodation for up to 8 guests - with large open-plan lounge/dining and kitchen, bathroom (with shower and sauna) and balcony on the first floor and master bedroom with ensuite (jacuzzi bath, shower etc); two bedrooms,large bathroom/shower, store and drying cupboard on the ground floor. Within the lounge fitted wall units there is an additional modern pull-down and comfortable double
bed.

The lodge is fully equipped for self-catering so all the home-from-home appliances you would expect as well as an in-house entertainment system, Wi-Fi internet access, TV/DVD in lounge and master bedroom. Parking at the lodge for 2 cars.

Craigendarroch Country Club offers members free access to a superb selection of leisure and relaxation facilities, including indoor pools and spa bath, sauna and steam room, fitness suite, squash court, table tennis, snooker room and outdoor tennis courts. The House Spa offers range of treatments for both men and women including hairdressing. The Brasserie and Lounge bar are on site and you will also find a good choice of restaurants, take-aways, coffee shops and local pubs in the small Victorian village of Ballater.

The Country Club offers events/activities for both adults and children and these have included malt whisky tasting, fishing, guided walks, land rover tours and horseback safaris as well as family quiz nights, cycling tours, spy quest games, etc. But if you don't want to do anything organised there is plenty to do. A car is essential but within easy reach you will find historic castles; beautiful golf courses, great fishing, the Royal Lochnagar Distillery, the Victorian Heritage trail; bike hire; Deeside activity park; horse riding; quad biking; and gentle walking or more challenging hikes in the Cairngorms and the Grampians.

Our Lodge week 8 (end of February/early March) is a great time for those of all ages who like to head to the slopes. All types of winter sports are available at the Lecht Activities Centre (18 miles) or Glenshee Ski Centre (25 miles).
