The lodge has a lovely open aspect within this Gold Crown resort and is surrounded by trees and wildlife.

The ground floor is dedicated to the master bedroom suite where apart from the large bedroom, there is a dressing area and new ensuite bathroom. Full length windows over- look a private terrace. There is also an electric drying cupboard in the vestibule/ hall.

Upstairs there is a twin bedded room with new ensuite facilities and a sauna and the spacious open plan living area. This consists of a large seating area opening, via full wall sliding glass doors, onto a sunny, sheltered balcony with table and chairs, a dining area to seat 6 and a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and washer/dryer. It is an extremely bright, comfortable living space.
Also in this room there is a pull down double bed concealed within a wall unit.

This large lodge sleeps 6 people very comfortably.

There is designated parking for 2 cars.

The hotel a few minutes' walk away has 2 restaurants and a family bar. The hotel bedrooms have been converted into suites under the Hilton Points initiative so all guests are lodge/suite owners. The extensive leisure club which has been recently refurbished and the beauty and spa suite are located within the hotel. There is also a dry ski slope behind the Hotel.

There are many National Trust properties easily accessible from Craigendarroch and from May to July, Balmoral Castle and grounds are open to the public.

Many of the lovely walks around Royal Deeside can be started straight from the lodge and the quaint, picturesque village of Ballater, with its many Royal warrants, is a 15-minute stroll away.

We have owned this lovely lodge for over 20 years and have had many happy holidays here.
