This well-appointed 8 birth (3 bedroom) lodge is positioned in a quiet location on the west side of Craigendarroch Hill facing on to an enclosed open space adjacent to the duck pond within 5 minutes walk of the Country Club. The very well appointed kitchen, dining room and lounge are located on the first floor making it convenient to access the spacious south-west facing covered balcony for when the weather allows which, in early June, is surprisingly often. There is also a shower room containing a private sauna for the use of guests occupying the drop down bed in the main lounge. The 3 bedrooms are located on the ground floor together with an en-suite to the master bedroom and a further bathroom servicing the remaining bedrooms. There is a free wifi service within the lodge.

The recently refurbished Country Club boasts a delightful swimming pool complex , spa, sauna, steam room, squash court, outdoor tennis court, table tennis, fitness room, snooker room, restaurant & bar and also a beauty saloon.

What really makes Craigendarroch special is the unparalleled countryside that is the Cairngorms National Park, the largest national park in the UK. From the unspoilt remoteness of the majestic Cairngorm Mountains to the many places of interest there is so much to do and see. The many castles (including Balmoral) and distilleries within the area are set against the backdrop of ancient forests and lochs as well as historic villages such as Breamar, near by Ballater and Tomintoul. The area offers some of the best walking country in the British Isles for all levels of ability. There is wildlife in abundance from Golden Eagles to Red Squirrels.

Craigendarroch is situated 1 mlie west of the village of Ballater and 40 miles west of Aberdeen on the A93. It can also be reached from Perth by taking the A93 via Blairgowrie.

We have very much enjoyed our 25 years at Craigendarroch and are sad to be leaving but all good things must come to an end. We are confident that you will find the experience equally rewarding.
