The Unit for sale is at Hilton Craigendarroch on Royal Deeside just outside Ballatre village around and hour from Aberdeen and it's airport. Royal Deeside is a beautiful area of Scotland particularly in the early spring during this rental period (wk10). Member of RCI.

On arrival at the Lodge, parking in one of the six spaces available, it is but a short step or two to the front door. Upon entering this detached two story 5 star lodge, you are met with an entry hall large drying cupboard and three bedrooms one with en-suite together with a further bathroom (with shower). Also in this area is a large cupboard perfect for keeping golf clubs, tennis kit, skis, and various other outdoor kit.

Moving up the wide stairway you arrive on the first floor. Here you are immediately met with the most striking image of an airy bright area with panoramic views across the lake and grounds up to hills in the distance, all being viewed through the full elevation of sliding French windows.

This floor has a modern open plan lounge/dining area very spacious and including 46 inch TV, Hi-Fi, DVD, and free Wi-Fi. The leather suit adds to the luxury. This area leads out through the French doors to a spacious dining balcony. Included on this floor is a double fold down wall bed subtly tucked away when not required. Moving through this area takes us to the open plan 5 star kitchen area with all the expected facilities for everybody to enjoy cooking - oven hob, hot plates, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, etc. Finally on this floor tucked away is the private 8 person sauna and separate power shower room with the usual toilet facilities - a joy to use.

The area of Royal Deeside and further a field offers extensive casual walking along the River Dee. For the more enthusiastic, hillwalking and climbing are all close. Golf is very popular in this area with Ballatre, Braemar, Abboyne and Bancory golf courses all with in 20 minute drive, offering a warm friendly welcome to all visitors. At this time of year over the last 25 years of our ownership, skiing has always been available at Glenshee and the Lecht; each is around 40 minute or so drive away. If skiing is not your thing then there is always sledging for all the family. Over the years Mountain biking has become very popular in the area with renting of bikes available locally. The old railway line for beginners and for the more adventurous there are plenty of challenges including Glen Muick area and may other spots.

After a busy day out and about it is always great to return to the detached lodge and use the on site facilities; tennis court, swimming pool and spa, gym, sauna/steam room and bar/restaurant. Relaxing with a cocktail and food prepared by the onsite staff. There after retiring with a 2 min stroll back luxury of the lodge.

All in all week 10 in the early spring has always provided us with a very enjoyable and relaxing family holiday. Unfortunately we are now selling as our circumstances have changed. Thanks for considering our lodge.
