We have owned at Craigendarroch since 1987 and apart from swaps to Aviemore, Austria, Germany and USA have used the lodge every year, as we love the resort and the area. I am now widowed and sadly feel I shall not be able to , carry on travelling ad infinitum. It is a quiet resort,with spa,indoor pool gym,tennis court on site.There is also a restaurant and bar area.

The lodges at this RCI Gold Crown facility are well equipped, furniture of excellent quality,kitchen has all mod cons, and they have stood the test of time very well.

The observant amongst you will spot red squirrels around the lodges. It is a rare year that one does not have at least one sighting of this iconic mammal.

Ballater is half, a mile away, a pleasant, friendly town with both individually owned shops and a couple of smallish supermarkets. Banchory is a favourite town and one I always visit.

There are walks either from the resort or from further afield. Loch Muick is a "must" either to stroll along the footpaths,or to start the 7 mile walk around the loch. On a good clear day it is also the start point for a strenuous day out climbing Lochnagar.

There are many National Trust for Scotland castles and other properties within easy reach by car,as well as wonderful scenic drives in all directions.

As you will gather I love the place and it is with a heavy heart I have decided to sell.
