The apartment is overlooking the pool, which is the largest seawater pool on the Island, surrounded by landscaped gardens and the fantastic sea views.

There is also an indoor pool and other facilities consist of a sauna, jacuzzi,gym, spa and Turkish baths.

There are restaurants in the hotel specialising in Italian, Moroccan and Portuguese cuisine plus a poolside bar with catering and a piano bar with entertainment during  the evenings.

There is a beautiful coastal walk which takes you part of the way to the centre of Funchal where there are many restaurants, bars and shops.
