The Hotel then descends to the lido promenade with direct access to the seafront and numerous restaurants, snack bars and an excellent Supermarket. It is spacious, easily accommodating 4 adults in the large double bedroom plus lounge with double superior sofa bed. There are 2 bath/shower/toilet rooms and separate wardrobe space in each area making it a good buy to share with family/friends. The lounge has a full kitchen/dining area, and satellite TV/radio. Maid service is provided daily. The Hotel has 2 restaurants plus poolside snack bar and offers 'Dine around deals' at its 5 sister Hotels including the Casino. The balcony is southwest facing and is well furnished with 4 quality sun loungers, table and 4 chairs, ideal for breakfast and that evening sundowner.

Pestana have an exchange network so you can change your week at the Promenade or to other hotels in Madeira, Portugal or Brazil for a small admin fee.

Our week is Spring on the island and sometimes catches the Carnival; the weather is usually good and ideal for walking, sightseeing or golf. The owner relations office is excellent at making arrangement for guests.

The centre of Funchal is a steady 20 minute walk downhill, passing some excellent eating places, gardens and the Casino.
