The Pestana Miramar Garden Resort is a 4 Star, Gold Crown hotel.  It is an elegant resort set in beautiful gardens next to its sister resort Pestana Village approximately 15 mins walk from the centre of Funchal.  There is a good bus service and ample reasonably priced taxis to all the attractions of this beautiful island.

The public rooms are beautifully and elegantly furnished and include a small library and a games room.  Sunbathing can be around the open-air pool or tucked away on the quiet peaceful lawns.  There is an indoor pool and jacuzzi for cooler days.  There is also a gymnasium in the grounds and spa treatments are available.  Dining options vary from A la Carte in the Mediterranean Restaurant to local specialities in the Adega or a visit to the Pizzeria and lunches at the poolside snack bar.

This spacious, air-conditioned 2 bed-roomed apartment on the 4th floor (there are lifts) overlooks the swimming pool and comfortably sleeps 6, including 2 on the pull-out sofa in the large lounge, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a balcony with table and chairs.  Car parking is available.

This Time Share is for Week 15 , which is generally the 2nd week in April and Easter holidays or the annual Flower Festival sometimes fall within it and we have also used RCI Points to exchange either resort or date.

We are selling our Time Shares because ill-health makes it impossible to travel but we will treasure the memories of many happy holidays spent there.
