The area is very quiet and peaceful, with lashings of natural beauty, but you’ll need a hired car to get the best out of your holiday.

Those looking for a night out should head to the neighbouring holiday resort of Fuengirola. There’s good choice of bars and eateries, and history buffs will enjoy the Moorish castle and the ruins of the Roman city. The charming marina and its harbourside eateries are perfect for a romantic dinner.
