The lodges are in the grounds of the 5* Slaley Hall Hotel, which has two championship golf courses. 

Lodge owners benefit from discounted golf fees and free usage of the spa and leisure facilities including an indoor swimming pool & slide along with the sauna, steam room and a gym. Within the hotel you can enjoy delicious meals at the two restaurants and again owners get generous discounts. On the grounds there are a wide range of outdoor activities offering experiences in Segway, paintballing and quad-biking. 

The nearest towns are Hexham and Corbridge, both of which are attractive and interesting with a large number of pubs, bars and restaurants as well as independent shops. In Hexham there are Tesco and Waitrose supermarkets. Nearby attractions include Hadrian’s Wall, Roman Forts and Kielder Forest and Water. Further afield are Alnwick Castle and Bamburgh, while Newcastle and the Northumbrian coast are only 45 minute’s drive away.

This lodge is one of the newer, chalet style lodges in an elevated position with lovely long range views over the Northumbrian hills. 
It has a king-size master bedroom suite, with a rainfall shower. There are two other double bedrooms – one with en-suite facilities. The large family bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath and opens onto a sauna. There is a spacious, fully equipped kitchen-diner with a full range of integrated appliances, including a dishwasher. The sitting room on the first floor has comfortable leather soft furniture, ‘state of the art’ satellite TV and audio equipment and includes an additional dining table and chairs. Double doors open onto the large balcony, where you can sit and enjoy the glorious views. There is also garden furniture on the patio. There is ample space to park three cars on the driveway and a four-seater, electric golf buggy is provided for use on the 1000 acre grounds for the week. 

The property is child friendly as there is an integrated baby-gate. Cots and high chairs are provided free on request. The children’s playground is a short walk from the lodge. Everything you might need for your weeks stay is provided including high quality: 
bed linen, towels, and two bathrobes, cleaning materials, crockery, cutlery and glassware. 

We have had the lodge for eight years and have spent many happy weeks at Slaley with our family, but our grandchildren have now started school and are unable to enjoy that week with us.
