The Location:

Royal Savoy Hotel and Resort is a 5 star resort set in a superb sea front position on the bay of Funchal. Its clever architectural design provides guests with superb views of the Atlantic from all aspects of the complex. 

The beautiful city of Funchal, with its Old Town district, bustling marina, tranquil park, cathedral, municipal theatre, and famous market, has tree lined streets and squares dotted with outdoor cafés and restaurants. There are also shopping centres, museums and two cable cars, and all are just a short walk away from the resort. 

The Resort:

At the Royal Savoy you will find a host of amenities available to all guests. There are 2 attractive heated outdoor pools plus a children's paddling pool, which are set in the beautiful subtropical gardens. There is also a lovely indoor pool, which is just like swimming in a warm bath! Some of the many other amenities on site, to name just a few, include:

sauna
steam room
library
health club
full health spa (surcharge)
hair salon (surcharge)
à la carte restaurant
cocktail bar. 

The Armada restaurant offers a buffet breakfast (which has to be seen to be believed!), as well as mouth watering lunch and dinner options. You can even dine outside on the decking next to the pool should you wish, which is a serene and enjoyable way to either start or finish your day. There is also a café / snack bar by the outdoor pools and 24/7 room service. 

Entertainment is provided nightly for guests free of charge. 

Occupancy is Monday to Monday, and the apartments are fully serviced. This includes a daily maid visit to providing cleaning, change of towels / bedding, and bed making. A turn-down service is also provided should the sofa bed be used by guests.

The Apartment:

This luxury apartment on offer provides stunning views from its 4th floor setting, which is one of the most popular within the resort. It is a one bedroom one bathroom apartment plus separate shower room, and is beautifully appointed with high end fixtures and fittings. The master bedroom has a Super King size bed, a walk-in closet, and a dressing area, that leads into the spacious bathroom. 

There is also a separate cloakroom off the lounge area. 

The large balcony, which is accessed directly from both bedroom and lounge areas, basks in the warm Madeira sunshine all day. Sun loungers, plus a dining table and 4 chairs are provided on the balcony, so you can breakfast or dine al-fresco whenever you like.

As well as the spacious lounge area, there is a generous separate dining area and a complete kitchen. The lounge has a comfortable sofa bed which converts into a double bed for guests. The design of this apartment offers superb accommodation for up to 4 people. 

The apartment is approximately 80m2 in size, with a balcony area of 18m2. 

Ownership is until 2032.
