Matchroom Country club is a very relaxing private gated resort on Cala Suiza, a quiet tree lined road on the Mijas Costa region and it directly overlooks several  fairways of Mijas Golf course. The nearest towns are Las Lagunas and Fuengirola. The resort is about 30 minutes drive from the airport and 4 miles from the coast and beaches.

Our spacious apartment is a fixed week with three bedrooms and sleeping facilities for eight. It is situated on the first floor of the sunny side of the resort with stunning direct views over Mijas Los Largos golf course and beyond from the windows in the lounge, dining area, kitchen, every bedroom and even the en suite bathroom. 

The large lounge/dining room has glazed sliding doors to a pleasant sunny all day and evening terrace overlooking the gardens where there are lots of trees, shrubs and flowers, the main swimming pool and the golf fairways. There is a fully separate kitchen/utility area with a small balcony overlooking the golf fairways. 

The en suite main bedroom has a glazed door to a rear terrace giving alternative views of golf fairways. Bedroom two also has a glazed door to the rear terrace with the same views. Similarly bedroom three has a small private balcony overlooking the golf course and accessed from glazed doors. All the bedrooms have fully independent air conditioning. The separate main bathroom has full facilities.

In addition to the information given on Worldwidehypermarkets website, the resorts elegant dining room opens onto an outside area for al fresco dining and there is a separate refreshment area outside the main bar area. There are extensive gardens, a handball court, table tennis and a pool table. The main outdoor pool is heated and there is a separate children pool and a small indoor pool. A private underground car park is situated on site. The nearest golf course is Mijas Golf about 1.5 miles away with two courses and there are several others from 5 to 10 miles away. The resort is RCI Gold Crown affiliated.
