We have had some fabulous holidays at Orange Lake, delighting in our childrens’ faces when we introduced them to the amazing parks nearby. Situated just 4 miles from the Disney Resort area and about 20 miles from the International Airport, Orange Lake has Gold Crown status and has been awarded TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence for 2014. Orlando Studios and SeaWorld are also a short drive away and we have also been on day trips to the Kennedy Space Centre.

Our ground floor villa overlooking the golf course has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and sleeps 8 (1 king, 2 queen & sofa bed queen size). There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine & tumble dryer and a TV in the living room and in both bedrooms. It is fully air-conditioned.

The resort has excellent facilities including 7 pools, 80 acre lake with water sports, tennis courts, 9 restaurants, 4 golf courses including a championship course, a 36 hole miniature golf course, also daily activities and nightly entertainment. The River Island area is 12 acres of beautiful water features and includes a lazy- river. We have particularly enjoyed playing golf on all the courses.

There is plenty of choice in the 9 restaurants if you don’t fancy cooking including pizzeria, grill, cafe, or you can use the on- site grocery store. Just off site there are grocery stores & many different restaurants within very easy access. A free resort shuttle runs around the resort if you do not wish to use your car or walk. Small kids really love it!
