The apartment is equipped for four persons, but with this occupancy two convertible sofa/beds would be used. Extensive hotel facilities, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, Jacuzzi, restaurants, gardens, library etc are available equally to apartment and hotel guests. The apartment is well situated with views which include sea, harbour, outdoor pool, mountain and Funchal. It is conveniently accessed by lift or stairs. 

The Miramar is located in the Sao Martinho hotel area of Funchal and is well served by public transport and, if necessary, by reasonably priced taxis. Parking is available at the hotel if a car is hired.

The benign climate of Madeira gives it an all year round ‘red’ season status, facilitating exchange if this should ever be needed. The airport is served by both scheduled and low-cost airlines. Throughout Madeira the English language is understood and spoken. This, together with the landscape, facilities and many attractions account for the relaxed atmosphere which makes Madeira such a favourite destination. Week 15 is at, or close to Easter and the accompanying floral and other festivities.

After successive years of enjoyment of the apartment and admiration for the Pestana management, illness now necessitates the sale of the apartment. It is being offered at a price which will be found to represent genuinely good value for anyone interested in a superior studio in Madeira.
