The two fixed week suites we have for sale are a top (6th) floor Penthouse which sleeps up to 6 people and a two bedroomed 2nd floor suite which also sleeps up to 6 people. The Penthouse is week 28 - starting this year on Saturday 6th July 2013 and the second floor apartment is weeks 30 and 31 starting on Saturdays 20th and 27th July 2013 respectively (UK school holidays). The best feature of the suites is something that no other resorts could improve on, namely the uninterrupted, spectacular views out to sea, the garden and the pier. Both the Penthouse and two bedroomed suite also have views inland from the kitchen and dining rooms respectively. Both suites have lifts with the 2nd floor suite lift having entry directly into the apartment. The apartments are less than 10 minutes' walk from Bournemouth's cosmopolitan, bustling shopping centre, famous for its nightlife, concert halls, restaurants, cafes, department stores, cinemas, bars, Friday night firework displays by the pier, as well as its beautiful parks, museums, library and sporting facilities. The beach is 7 miles long and has pristine golden sand (awarded an EU blue flag). Access to the beach is just one minute away via either the funicular cliff lift or the zig zag cliff path for those who prefer to walk down to the beach. There is a wealth of places to visit near Bournemouth, including the New Forest, the Purbeck Hills and the beautiful historic towns of Christchurch (a must for 'foodies', the boating and yachting communities as well as history and architecture buffs) and Lymington, from where regular ferry services run to the Isle of Wight. All of the apartments in the Carlton club are linked, via a corridor on the ground floor, to the Carlton Hotel (part of the Menzies group). When staying at the Carlton Club Apartments, you have the choice of a fully independent self-catering stay or an indulgent catered break, making use of the hotel facilities in the Carlton Hotel including room service. The hotel's Waves Leisure Club has a heated indoor and outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool bath, sauna and gym. In addition, should you wish to pamper yourself, there is also the beauty rooms offering a range of treatments including massages and manicures. Timeshare owners/residents are also entitled to use the pool and restaurant at the sister East Cliff Court hotel next door. Both suites have enormous picture windows at the front letting you enjoy fabulous 'wow' factor panoramic sea views from the Isle of Wight, all the way round to Poole and the internationally renowned Sandbanks beach. Both apartments, especially the Penthouse are extremely light and very spacious, have fully equipped kitchens, en-suite bedrooms and bathrooms to each bedroom (with baths and showers) and separate dining rooms. The TVs are modern flat screen with all the Freeview channels and are located in the living rooms and bedrooms. The rooms also have DVD players and there is a DVD library in the hotel. The Penthouse has two free allocated parking spaces with extra parking available in the hotel's car park if required. The second floor suite has one free allocated parking space. The second floor suite has just had its major refurbishment completed (late 2012) and looks stunning. The Penthouse also had its refurbishment a couple of years ago and is also stunning. The leases on the suites run until 31/12/ 2068.
