Who are the RDO and what do they do?

The RDO is a trade association working with governments and consumer associations around Europe to help safeguard the interests of both timeshare owners and industry members.

With headquarters in Brussels and offices in Madrid and London, the RDO also have various chapters in Germany, Greece, Hungary, Portugal and Finland.

A primary objective of the RDO is to help shield consumers from the practices of fraudsters. The RDO take a pro-active role in helping to enforce European regulations and employee the services of investigators tasked with collating evidence and liaising with local police authorities to ensure laws are properly enforced. Remarkably, the RDO's efforts have helped contribute to the closure of over one hundred fraudulent companies since 2005.
