Las Terrazas de Cala CodolarSan Josep, Ibiza, Balearic Islands

Las Terrazas de Cala Codolar is a picturesque cluster of split level apartments perched on a cliff overlooking its namesake beach on Ibiza's southwest coast. Ibiza may be primarily known as a party destination, but these timeshares are ideal for visitors seeking a more peaceful holiday on this Spanish island.

All timeshares have two bedrooms whose double, twin, and sofa beds can comfortably hold up to six people. Electric burners, refrigerators, coffee makers, toasters, ovens, and washing machines are situated in each unit's full kitchen. Televisions, fans, and electric radiators are among the other features found in each unit. Safes are situated in all stairways.

There is a fixed electricity fee for each confirmed week, and house cleaning services with bathroom towel changes occur twice a week. Linens are changed once per week. All apartments boast spacious terraces facing the nearby Cala Codolar beach, and sunbathers can choose between working on their tan at the resort's own outdoor swimming pool or walking along the path connecting the property to the beach.

Guests should know credit cards are not accepted and public transit to Las Terrazas de Cala Codolar is only offered during the high summer season. Several supermarkets, restaurants, nightclubs, and outdoor activities are also closed between October and May.

The gently sloping Cala Codolar is considered one of the most tranquil Mediterranean Sea beaches on Ibiza, but the nearest sizable town, Sant Antoni de Portmany, is situated nearly 30 minutes drive to the northeast. Reception staff can rent vehicles for guests as well as sailboats and windsurfing gear. Cala Codolar also features some good quality diving and snorkeling sites.

As Ibiza's second most populous community, Sant Antoni de Portmany is rivaled only by Ibiza Town in terms of tasty tapas restaurants, interesting museums, and lively nightlife which has earned the island its unofficial status as the world's clubbing capital.

Rubber and palm trees tower next to large fountains along Sant Antoni de Portmany's harbourside and Passeig de ses Fonts promenade, but the West End and Sunset Strip contain the majority of local nightclubs. The town's most famous landmark, however, is the giant egg statue situated in the middle of its main roundabout.

Ibiza Airport, situated seven kilometres southwest of Ibiza Town, is the main gateway for 95 percent of all visitors to not only Ibiza, but also the neighbouring Balearic islands of Formentera.
