A brief drive East from the resort is the Stocksfield Golf Club’s Par 70, located in the Tyne Valley, creating a challenge for all whilst the spoils of the 19th can be enjoyed from within the on-site restaurant. The beautifully maintained Consett & District Golf Club’s Par 71, just over 10 miles South-East from Slaley Hall is characterised by its slick plateau greens which make for putting heaven. Canterbury Golf Club’s Par 71, a short drive North, is set amid mature woodland and carpeted with bluebells during springtime but don’t let the beauty distract as Canterbury’s longest Par 4 hole awaits!
